June 4, 2:30pm: Urban Citizenship!
Round trip and Picnic at Stadtpark with Schwabinggrad Ballett, Behnaz Vassighi, Welcome City Group and others
It’s not “the germans” and “the refugees”! We are living in a city, where migrant communities are omnipresent. Could the idea of an “urban citizenship” be a concept to fight discrimination and the lack of civil rights?
2:30pm: Meeting point for the round trip at Stadtpark, Südring 44, opposite Café Sommerterrassen.
Picnic from 4pm, greenfield at the childrens pool, Stadtpark
There will be bus shuttle from the Schnelsen refugee camp at 1:30 pm

What exactly did „Welcome“ mean? Do you have to be a citizen to be part of this society? Why are criminal Inländers never deported? Why do they call it ‚refugee crisis’ and not ‚housing crisis’? Are there alternatives to the Lager-system? What’s the problem, Germany? A year after the so called „summer of migration“ Schwabinggrad Ballett and Il Arrivati produce a series of urban interventions adressing ‚refugee’ rights and the right to the city. The two collectives go to refugee camps, to the Axel-Springer-Platz, to the Stadtpark. They perform, create unexpected situations and invite activists and communities to a partyesque public debate.

4.Juni, 14:30 Uhr: Urban Citizenship!

What’s the problem, Germany?
